Sypher attorney says witnessess lied during trial

Karen Cunagin Sypher isn’t going away without a fight.

Less than two weeks after being convicted of extortion, lying to the FBI and retaliating against a witness -- which prompted her to respond “I know now there is no justice system” - her attorney claims witnesses for the prosecution may have lied during the trial.

That’s one way to appeal the case.

James Earhart included that allegation within his motion filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court asking for more time to request a new trial. His allegation did not specify which witness (or witnesses) may have lied.

Is that possible? Sure. It’d fit right in with the oddballs the prosecution called. Remember this guy? And this one? It just reinforces that no one emerged as a winner from that trial.
