Attention Big Ten haters: You’ll want to watch every game this season.
Not only will it be the nation’s best conference, there’s twice as much Gus Johnson as before. That’s 23 Big Ten games in 2010-11. Even Guz Jeezy can make a 53-44 game exciting.
Cue the requisite quote from a Big Ten Network official.
“When Gus Johnson calls a game, there’s a feeling of anticipation and a sense that anything can happen. He brings a level of genuine excitement to the game that no one else does,” Big Ten Network President Mark Silverman said. “We’re also pleased to add a couple of faces who are new to the network, but familiar to Big Ten fans everywhere.”
Damn straight fans everywhere love him. In fact, this news is so nice, it’s time to his the Gus soundboard. Rise and fire!
