Wanna play hoops and football? Where do you go?

Never really been into college football’s signing day. For obvious reasons.

But sometimes it seeps into college hoops. Can’t be helped.

Take the case of Miami and its quest to sign highly sought-after quarterback Jacoby Brissett. He would be the gem of new ‘Canes coach Al Golden’s class, with the added bonus of being a local star.

Brissett, however, also wants to play hoops. And there’s the rub.

Miami’s hoops program doesn’t offer much other than playing time, but that’s the least of Golden’s worries. Brissett’s also considering Florida, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Washington.

If you’re a 6-5, 225-pound QB with dreams of being a two-way player, where would you go? A solid football program with a chance of being a contributor to a winning hoops team, or staring for the’Canes and slogging along with their hoops team?

Guess that depends on how serious you are about hoops.
