It’s the time of year when you hear phrases like “Big Dance,” “bubble,” and “Cinderella” tossed about by college hoops talking heads as if the nation knows ‘em by heart.
And those are the common ones.
Include “body of work,” “eye test,” “bid thief” and “RPI” and you’ve got a litany of terms most people who tune in for March Madness – and only March Madness – must surely not know. But if you have college hoops on all the time, the terms become a bit … tiresome.
