Venoy Overton’s in need of legal help. Again. So much for changing his reputation.

The former Washington guard -- who was charged March 8 with supplying alcohol to a minor but avoided jail time because prosecutors declined to file sex charges – was arrested Thursday for investigation of second-degree promoting position, the Seattle Times reported.

Police began investigated Overton in May when officers contacted an 18-year-old woman who told them her boyfriend directed her to perform acts of prostitution. She later identified Overton as her boyfriend, according to a news release. She allegedly told officers that she had been given instructions about which sex acts to perform and had given some of the money to Overton.

He is now in jail and is likely to appear before a judge on Friday.

This isn’t the least of his problems, either.

Part of Overton’s previous legal issue contained a provision that he had to avoid new criminal charges for a year. A supplying alcohol to a minor charge could now be revisited.

Huskies coach Lorenzo Romar, who defended Overton during the previous incident, released this statement:

“I have been informed of the arrest of Venoy Overton and I am extremely disappointed. My staff and I spent an extraordinary amount of time and energy attempting to mentor Venoy prior to his recent graduation, so this news is especially troubling.”
