Conference realignment is always a reliable source of head-shaking. Every day – sometimes every hour – there’s material that makes me wonder if anyone realizes what’s going on.
I mean, if realignment is being driven by college football then why do the guys on College Sports Talk spent part of this segment ripping pretty much every move being made by conferences?
We know conferences don’t give a rip about college hoops in all of this. If that were true, the Big East would still have Syracuse and Pitt, among others. But it’s just so damn depressing to see football guys bemoan these moves when the moves don’t boost any sport.
