OK, enough Cincinnati-Xavier brawl news for a bit. How about a feel-good video instead?

That’s the “Silent Night” cheer from Taylor University, which catapulted the school into the spotlight last season though the cheer has been around since the early ‘90s.

Here’s the rundown for those who’ve forgotten: the NAIA school in Indiana kicks off its finals week with by packing 2,265 people in its gym – most everyone dresses in ridiculous apparel – who go absolutely nuts when the Trojans score their 10th point.

The cheer is a good omen, too. Taylor usually wins the game. This time it was Ohio Mid-Western falling, 71-47.

“I like doing this, and as long as I feel like I’m making a difference for our guys, I’m going to keep on doing it,” coach Paul Patterson told CBSSports.com.

We’re all in favor of it, coach.
