Chane Behanan: ‘We get to the Final Four, it’s a piece of cake from there’

NCAA Basketball Tournament - New Mexico v Louisville

Chane Behanan had some interesting comments to make after Louisville knocked off New Mexico to advance to the Sweet 16 last night.

Behanan told Adam Lefkoe of WHAS11 in Louisville, “We get to the Final Four, it’s a piece of cake from there.”

I guess I can see what he’s trying to say -- the hard part is winning four straight games and getting out of your region. Anything can happen in the Final Four. But the way it sounds, especially when you consider that Louisville would likely be playing Kentucky in the Final Four? That’s not a good look.

This isn’t the first time that Behanan’s mouth has caused a ripple across the blogosphere. Back in December, Behanan told reporters that Louisville is going undeafeted, “point blank, period.”

Behanan certainly isn’t lacking in the confidence department.
