North Carolina fan sells shirts after Duke loss to Lehigh

For a North Carolina fan, what could be better than making a buck off the pain of a bitter rival? In the case of the person who made the shirts pictured at the right, the answer was probably “nothing.”

CNBC’s Darren Rovell tweeted a photo of the unique shirt that is now on sale for anyone who would like to proudly support the underdog Lehigh Mountain Hawks, or simply revel in the Blue Devils’ defeat.

Hey, Duke fans may want to buy one too, if only to use it as a rag or just to get them off the shelves and out of circulation.

Lehigh moves on to play Xavier on Sunday evening in what should be a matchup of strong backcourts, with Tu Holloway and Mark Lyons for the Musketeers and star CJ McCollum for Lehigh.

Duke, on the other hand, is looking toward next season, and will most likely have a roster that looks much different than this year’s. Austin Rivers is expected to leave for the NBA, as is center Mason Plumlee.
