Things are looking up for Tony Barbee and the Auburn Tigers. In his second season (coinciding with the 2nd season of Auburn’s impressive new facilities) the Tigers improved from 11-20 to 15-16, and they’re bringing in a solid recruiting class headlined by consensus top-100 player Jordan Price.

And today Barbee received more good news. Former Virginia Cavalier guard K.T. Harrell has transferred to Auburn. He’ll have to finish sitting out a year before becoming eligible.

Harrell was the 30th ranked recruit in the nation according to Rivals.

The 6'4 guard was the 2010 4A Player of the Year in Alabama.

Harrell averaged 8 points a game in his promising freshman season, and he made 42% of his 3-pointers. But then his minutes were reduced as a sophomore, and he announced his intentions to transfer before the end of the fall semester.
