Mississippi State’s Arnett Moultrie will enter the 2012 NBA draft. But there are conflicting reports about whether he’ll stay in it.

The 6-11 junior told Brandon Marcello of the Jackson Clarion-Ledger that he hasn’t signed an agent yet, but intends on doing so. If Moultrie does that, he’ll lose any remaining NCAA eligibility. However, this is the second time Moultrie has declared for the draft. He also did following his sophomore season at UTEP. Per NCAA rules, he’d be unable to return to school.

But, Brad Locke from the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal says Moultrie has yet to file any paperwork. Until that happens, Moultrie’s options remain open.

He has until April 10 to decide.

There’s also a third option. Gary Parrish of C BSSports.com says Moultrie could possibly graduate from Miss State, then play immediately at another school next season.

My guess? He stays in the draft.

Moultrie averaged 16.4 points and 10.5 rebounds a game for the Bulldogs and made 55 percent of his field goal attempts.
