Kidd-Gilchrist seems to have the edge to me. For his position he seems almost ideal except that he needs to work on his long range shooting more. But he gets out on the break as fast as any player in the country and he finds a way to finish that leaves defenders in the dust. He has that instinct that tells him which way to go that will have the opposition turning against their own momentum leaving MKG with the only clear momentum to the hoop. And his defense is stellar. He never slows down or lets up. He always drew the toughest assignment from the point guard to the small forward at UK. He has the quickness and the motor to play defense all night and still be ready to run hard on the break. Players with that level of energy are a real asset to any team. He's also tough as nails once shoving his shoulder back into it's socket after a separation without bothering to leave the game even for a second. He's tough, fast, strong and hard nosed and most of all he only has one speed and it's Wildcat.
