If freshman or sophomore, that was the standard until junior year when you named your major.

And stop calling liberal arts degrees worthless. The regional commissioner and I, spokesperson, of a federal agency were both poli sci majors. I’m comfortably retired and think there’s too much pressure on kids to pick their field in the 5th grade.
