Elite 2013 forward Chris Walker commits to Florida, guarantees national championship

Getty Images In one of the more creative college commitments in recent years, Top 10 2013 forward Chris Walker pledged his name to Florida via a YouTube video posted to his Twitter page.
“I will be playing basketball at the University of Florida,” Walker says in the video. “I will be teaming up with my teammate from the AAU squad, Kasey Hill, and together we’ll be the best duo in college and will win a national championship.
“You heard it here first.”
The 6-10, 195-pound Walker is a native of Bonifay, Fla., located about an hour and a half from the state’s capital, Tallahassee.
Walker joins Hill, another Top 20 player, to make a strong recruiting class for Billy Donovan and the Gators. Commitments from these two Florida natives means Donovan is taking full advantage of the available recruits in his backyard in 2013.
Walker helps to balance out the guard-heavy 2012 recruiting class which is compromised of four guards, led by North Carolina native Braxton Ogbueze.
The Gators finished 26-11 last season, including 10-6 in the SEC. Last season’s star, guard Brad Beal, left for the NBA draft, leaving the Gators with a need to fill a gap of 14.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

Who cares the truth hurts! That kid would right now decommit from FL if coach cal called him right now and said he has a spot on UK’s team for him. That kid was begging UK to offer him

You know what I’m begging for? Idiotic UK fans to shut up.
How’s that football team of yours doing? Want to know why Frankfort, KY, doesn’t have a college football team? Because then Lexington would want one too.

u sound real angry and jealous at a high school sr. did he ” beg” or did he want one. those are two different things due to the fact he is a top ten recruit hands down, i assume he wanted one and not begged. Obvioulsy he cant pick every school that offers him but ofcourse he want all top schools to offer/want him. Maybe its an ego thing like hey look wat i got an offer from Uk unc Duke etc etc.
I assume ur a UK fan. do u really want to play the sketchy back ground card with coach cal runnin things??

Lol go back and look at that kids twitter account saying things like if UK doesn’t offer me right now I’m dropping them off my list so yeah that sounds like begging to me. Plus I see your a moron hater bringing up cal be dirty because if you really knew what you were talking about you would know cal has never been in trouble with the NCAA

Wow time to teach you about college basketball it’s ok I see your not a true fan. At umass Camby took money from a agent and once coach Cal found out he turned him in and that’s why umass had to give up its FF but your right it was Cal’s fault moron. Then at memphis the NCAA cleared rose to play basketball so don’t you think as a coach you would start and play your best player? The NCAA the assholes they are waited until the season was over and said guess what we think rose cheated on his SAT’s so he shouldn’t have played and now you have to give up all your wins. Yeah that was coach Cals fault to huh he should of used his ESP to see into the future and seen the NCAA was going to screw him and memphis. If you were as smart as you think you are you could of looked up this info and known the truth, but no your just like every other monkey out there that just follows along and likes to be a hater because UK is better than your team and has 8 titles

Calipari is the epitome of the “one-night stand”… basketball style. I do have to give UK fans credit for being able to remember the names coming through the revolving door of the nation’s leading one-and-done university. But let’s all remember, they are really STUDENT-athletes. No, really, they are. What a joke of an institution. They keep them eligible through first semester, then the professors never see them again. I’m guessing you don’t see anything wrong with that. BTW, try “Hooked On Phonics” before future posts. Reading yours gives people a headache.
