The Washington basketball team is over in Spain right now, taking in the sights and sounds -- and hopefully El Clasico -- while they scrimmage Spanish club teams.
Two games into the trip, and the Huskies are 2-0, but the wins have come in less than impressive fashion. They won by three on Monday despite turning the ball over 28 times, and followed that up with a one point win in overtime on Wednesday. That game saw them turn the ball over 21 times. Normally, that would be a major concern, but Washington is trying to work in a new offense for this season.
Now, the results of a preseason scrimmage during an overseas trip in August is not exactly postworthy.
But what happens if, during one of those scrimmages, a player happens to hit a buzzer-beating half court shot to force overtime?
