- The first sentence in Andy Katz’s article about the young but confident Georgetown Hoyas squad says it all

- UConn’s Shabazz Napier, the team;s leading returning scorer, had surgery to fix a stress fracture in his foot but should be ready to go come season tip-off

-  SB Nation launched a full-fledged re-branding last week, and the results are pretty impressive. If you are big into brand management, take a moment to read this great piece on how the re-branding went down

- Arkansas-transfer Devonta Abron will be eligible to play for TCU right away after appearing in 32 games for the Razorbacks last year

- Recently-graudated Indiana guard Verdell Jones pled guilty to DUI, stemming from an arrest last week

- Danny Spewak of Rush The Court provides a great-take on the sexual abuse allegations against Iowa State guard Bubu Palo
