- UNLV has decided to take a flyer on oft-troubled Jelan Kendrick. You may remember his story. As a freshman at Memphis in 2010, he was suspended twice and kicked off the team before the season began. He spent 2011 at Ole Miss, but was removed from the program following the end of the season. During a game in March, Kendrick removed himself from the court during warm-ups and left the arena with his girlfriend, only to return to a spot on the bench where he did not move from until the end of the contest
- Highly touted recruit Xavier Rathan-Myles committed to Florida State over the weekend, raising the Seminole’s chance of bagging top recruit Andrew Wiggins, who is very close with Rathan-Myles
