One thing that wasn’t mentioned was that St. John’s came back after being down 9 & did it with only a 7 man rotation. The Johnnies have a few players whose eligibility is in question with the NCAA & not wanting to lose redshirt status of a couple players, they only went with 7. It was a real gutsy performance by a solid St. John’s team against a very game & talented Detroit.
