Best shooter in the country… What?! What's a Jordy (Jordan) Hulls? I'm almost speechless at the nonsense I just read. Maybe the questions posed in this article were meant to be rhetorical – implying that we all know the answer. However, to call someone the best shooter in the country based on that performance, or any other that this player has ever had in his career is a bit of a reach.
38% from the three-point line is respectable. A good player would be considered average to shoot at that mark.
What is a Jordan Hulls? The leader/captain of the top ranked team in the country… Oh! He routinely shoots over 50% from the three-point line against the best collegiate guards in the nation. And he isn’t even the best shooter I’ve ever seen. I coached two kids Spike Albrecht (Michigan) and Austin Richie (Western Michigan) that I would put up against nearly anybody. Richie may in fact be the best shooter in the country.
Either way, get your mind right before you throw out unsubstantiated claims. All the respect to Jack and all he has accomplished to this point in his career. Keep putting in the extra work, and shoot whenever there is daylight… that’s how that system works.

Best shooter in country? Perhaps biggest ball hog. Less than 50% FG and less than 40% 3- pt FG percentage makes him terribly average at best.

So Rob, what you're saying is, I'm only 136 behind him in scoring. I scored 2 in college! (Man, if they'd have given me the ball more...)

True story: I played in a pretty competitive industrial league in Atlanta many years ago. We averaged 114 per game. It was the same year Loyola - Marymount averaged 108 (we kicked their @$$). We had a rule on our team: if you had an uncontested fast-break layup and didn't pull up and shoot a "3", you bought a round for everyone after the game. If you didn't make a "3" during the game, you bought a round after the game. Every team in the league had their highest scoring game against us, too :) We had one guy, a small college All-American. First day we got together, he told us he doesn't go inside the 3-point line. Then just to clarify, he said, "Actually, I don't go inside EITHER 3-point line." No defense, just shoot. Most fun I've ever had playing ball. Man, does this bring back some great memories.

Thanks for the game link too, Rob. I'm going to watch it this afternoon.
