Big East has always been a great basketball conferences and just patching a football conference together and with the BCS demoting them to be with MWC MAC Conference USA, maybe it is time to protect the product that makes you great. If there is one national basketball conferences, Kansas would certainly want to be a player. Depends how Texas helps or destroys the Big 12 in the next year. Kansas schools may be left high and dry and looking for a much better fit.
