Kevin Ollie is teaching more than basketball. He is teaching real life skills, and he deserves to be extended, regardless of this year's record. What a wonderful gesture on his (and his player's) part.

Raphielle, thanks for sharing this story. Brightened up my day that’s for sure. It’s great to hear a story like this especially because of how the UConn team approached it. No, “hey, look at what we’re doing”. No, “hey, take my picture with this kid or that family”. They sincerely just wanted to do nothing more than help. That team is revered in Connecticut. Kevin Ollie, you just got a fan for life.

I hate Uconn, but doing this is pretty awesome. Even better that they wanted as little media as possible to really spend time with the folks, and not just get their pic taken and leave. Really cool story.
