Michigan lost because they could’t guard Indiana. The only time Michigan looked like the better tram was when Yogi Ferrel and Jordy Hulls were on the bench and Remy Abell was the primary ball handler. Michigan had no answer for Victor Oladipo or Cody Zeller.

People tend to forget Michigan is the youngest team in the top 25. The key contributors were a sophomore PG (best in the nation) with 3 freshman (Robinson, Stauskas and McGary) along with Horford and Hardaway (sophomore and junior, respectively). The normal starting big, Morgan, was out with a sprained ankle. They should fall to 3 or 4. They’ll probably get a number one seed, but because this team will only get better (especially through this upcoming grind, OSU, @Wisc, @MSU in 10 days) the real question is if they’ll get an overall number 1. As a Michigan fan (obviously) I’ll be watching Indiana and Florida very closely.

Stauskas and robinson had off nights. Very off nights, and they were still right there with indiana at assembly hall. On a nuetral floor with no home officiating, they may have won despite it.
