Perfectly stated. When Vitale works a game, I mute the TV. When he first came on the scene, I doubt anyone would argue it was good for college basketball. It was kind of whacky, kind of refreshing. But his act has really grown old. Now it’s the same crap over and over again. Everybody is the greatest, everybody is the best he’s ever seen, everyone is a PTP’er, everyone needs a TO baby, every freshman is a diaper-dandy. Same stuff all the time. Face it, the guy is an annoyance. He needs to retire, not get more assignments. Thanks God I live in America. I couldn’t bear the thought of listening to this guy do the Final Four.

I am at a loss, who likes Viale? He ruins games with his idiot chatter, endless dopey crap. It reminds me of how Cosell got in his later days. I will be forced, again, to watch IU in silence. He is an embarrassment.
