This game taught me that it is possible that Aaron Craft could get a call against him…..after he committed a flagrant foul that wasn’t called. It also taught me that Trey Burke settles for outside jumpers too often and Michigan is vulnerable on the glass.

It also teaches us that Refs (like players) often fail at their role in crunch time.

A Super Bowl was just decided by a Ref swallowing the whistle on a crucial 4th Down with an obvious Def Holding. The B10 race may have been altered by Refs deciding not to act on not 1 but 2 crucial plays late in the game.

Ultimately the game is entertaining as can be, but sometimes the Players and Coaches arent the only ones that add to the drama.

I agree about officials. Craft hit a three pointer about a second after the shot clock expired. They didnt have the balls to call crafts flagrant a flagrant in OT. And if you think it shouldnt have been called flagrant, the last foul shouldnt have been called either then.

There is not a scenario this year that IU, Michigan, or MSU would get whipped by a non top 25 the way Florida did.

Also it’s frustrating that the best conference has by far the worst officials in the league. Michigan got a BS call where they actually held craft on a clear look for a layup yet officials called a foul on craft (4 point swing) with about 1:30 left in regulation. And then there is the swallowed whistle at the end of OT…

Great game, best the Big 10 has looked in years. The Big 10 tourney will be phenomenal.

The great part is the Big Ten isn’t going anywhere with some huge one and done exodus to the NBA. The players actually stick around for a bit, you know, like, for college?
