From this article you would think KU was the only team on the court. TCU played well and if they could make FT's the score would have been worse.

I find it ironic that the Coach Self took it upon himself to announce to the world and humiliate his whole team by calling them the worst team he's ever had, or something to that effect.

How is he going to get a positive response from his young team by condemning them? He is the coach blaming the team because he can't teach and coach them. That sounds like a bad coach, not a bad team. Don't you think coach that the team may want to listen to you less today than yesterday?

I've heard many top coaches say the most gratifying years were when they had success with less talented teams. That is because they were good teachers and coaches. It sounds like Self can't do a good job with average or good talent but only when his players are all really great. At Kansas he gets top quality players so if they can't play so they are talented. Heaven forbid, could it be his coaching?
