For reasons I don’t know, MN is a very tough place to win. Can you name one coach that has been successful at MN without cheating? The only coaches to win at MN, cheated. ie, Clem Haskins and Bill Musselman.

And, I agree with you…it is stupid! Who are they going to get? MN fans are delusional if they think that they can get someone like Shaka Smart or Brad Stevens…coaches like that can hold out for one of the premier jobs, like UCLA to open up.

He’s doing the same things he did at Kentucky, but since it’s Minnesota,which all sports teams are terrible, he has a job for life just because he coached at Kentucky. He doesn’t even attempt to recruit top guys, can’t keep top in state guys and none of his players improve. Not only does he recruit guys like Julian Welch, he plays him and keeps playing him.
