Holy smokes! Izzo game-planned Michigan very well, and the team executed the plan extremely well, too. Honestly, MSU looked like a monster last night. MSU took Michigan out of their game. The MSU defense was astonishingly good. The Spartans definitely have a tough schedule ahead, and I’m certain Michigan will come back hard against MSU, but MSU looked tough to beat last night.

The temporary “sole possession of 1st place” overshadows the game MSU just played which was a very solid statement game over a suddenly vulnerable Michigan team.

The story line options were a) Stellar game by MSU or b) Michigan now in a hole in the B10 race losing 2 straight… Instead you went with c) 22 hours of 1st place. Hmm, alright then.
