Hey Daniel, maybe instead of just guessing and cranking off an article to show off your clueless-ness, you might wanna watch the game, Einstein.

The play you so smartly guessed IS NOT THE PLAY IN QUESTION. That NON CALL was payback from an earlier called charge on KU, by the same player- Niang- who clearly did not have his feet set in the 1st half KU CHARGING call & foul on KU’s Kevin Young where replays showed no feet set anywhere.

The BLATANT ATTEMPTS to control the GAME CLOCK by Iowa State’s “Game SCOREKEEPER/TIMEKEEPER Crew”-not starting the clock on an in-bounds, having 8 plus seconds go by in LIVE PLAY with no clock movement, and other TIMING or “Forgot tot Start the Clock” issues are one concern for the Big 12′s Attention…I assume this is what the “HILTON MAGIC”, is ALL About!

BUT NO- it was not even THAT that brought the Big 12 REBUKE–It was the missed foul call just before regulation on thw WRONG PLAYER— that should have given KU Center Jeff Whitey his 5th Foul, –but Kevin Young smartly raised “his hand” to grab “his’ 4th foul, and keeping KU’s BIG (who had no blocks!) in the game for most of the the TWO Overtimes ala NBA Style of 6 Fouls–THAT is the BIG 12 ISSUE!
Another fact you missed was that Kansas scored only ONE Field Goal (EJ) in BOTH OVERTIMES….. and STILL WON BIG.

If you are gonna WRITE ABOUT THE GAME- maybe get your ASS outta the Media Free Food Buffet and WATCH THE GAME–NBC SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED!

There was not a “block” call. No call was made on the drive. They called a foul on Niang after the ball was tipped back down to Johnson and he was trying to get rid of it. A ref with any balls would have called a block or charge, but obviously this one didn’t have any.

terrible article. Not even close to what happened. There was a “No call” on the drive. the whistle blew later when the player on the floor grabbed the KU player with the ball. The ref is clearly calling a “hold” foul.

THERE ARE BAD CALLS AND MISSED CALLS IN EVERY GAME AND IN EVERY SPORT. THERE WERE CALLS DURING THIS GAME THAT WERE QUESTIONABLE BOTH WAYS. IT WAS A EXCITING GAME TO WATCH. I AM A KU FAN AND WAS VERY IMPRESSED (AGAIN) WITH ISU. THEY PLAYED ONE HECK OF A GAME. THEY WERE ON FIRE FROM 3 AND THE FREE THROW LINE. THEY JUST MISSED SHOTS AT THE END. GOOD TEAMS ADJUST TO BAD CALLS AND FIND WAYS TO WIN AND GO ON. THERE WERE AS MANY BAD CALLS AGAINST KU AS THERE WERE AGAINST ISU THAT TOOK POINTS AWAY FROM KU AND THOSE POINTS WOULD OF HAD KU WINNING IN REGULATION. I AM SURE WE WILL SEE PLENTY MORE BAD CALLS DURING MARCH MADNESS. I HOPE ISU MAKES THE BIG DANCE AND ARE SUCCESSFUL.

It’s clear college basketball in the Big 12 is fixed. Bill Self has never NOT won the Big 12 Championship at Kansas. Sure Kansas is great and Self is a great coach. But when a conference regularly puts 5-7 teams in the tournament, what is the statistical odds that one team wins the conference championship 12 years in a row?

Typical Kansas/Big 12 shite. Remember the fifth down play in Columbia, MO when the refs gave Colorado an extra down so they could win the game at the end? Very convenient, since Colorado was chasing the national championship at the time. The Big 8 later admitted the play shouldn’t have been run, but refused to give the game to the Tigers. The refs shouldn’t have made it out of the stadium alive that day.
