A friend of mine called. He follows the Big East much more so than I do, and he said there are three schools that are EACH getting ~$53 million for NOT being included in the new alignment. They’re dividing $100 million, three ways. Then they’re also getting an additional $20 million each from some other arrangement.

Anybody know the specifics, or if the above is accurate? Either way, should be a heck of a basketball conference heading into the future. Especially with the addition of Butler, Xavier, Dayton, Creighton, and St. Louis. Should be a fun conference to watch.
