Unfortunately, that IU/UK rivalry is no longer on the table due to Kentucky's Mafia Don of a Coach no longer wanting to play IU. They had an agreement on the table to move the neutral site annual rivalry to a home and home. Of course...the Mafioso didn't want to jeopardize that non-conferance home winning streak so he declined the home and home wasn't in their "best interests." Of course not. Especially after IU won last year at the buzzer in Assembly Hall. As for that non-conference win streak...thanks Baylor!

"If this isn’t the best rivalry in all of college hoops, it is right up there."

Please. No if about it. Someone please name a college basketball rivalry where the hatred is so deep AND both programs have been so consistently great for so long. When you list off the true blue bloods (not mere nobility) the like is, in its entirety: UCLA, Kansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Carolina and Duke (no order of preference, just moving from West to East. The first four have rivals they hate, but those rivals have rarely, if ever, been close to their level. That pretty well ends the discussion.

Disappointed in your write-up, Rob. Don't get me wrong. I can't wait for the IU - Michigan game. But seriously, not even a single mention of the Florida - Kentucky game at 12noon ET on CBS? This is a make or break game for the defending national champions, and they don't warrant even a mention?
