Virginia Commonwealth had a magical run to the Final Four in 2011. Can they do it again? Shaka Smart and his signature “Havoc” defense lost in the Atlantic-10 championship game to Saint Louis, but are in a position to ride that turnover-inducing defense deep into March. Vin Parise stops by “The Crossover” to make his case for the Rams making a run to Atlanta:

    So VCU is gonna ride the havoc defense and turnovers to go deep, even though
    1) Michigan leads the nation in turnover efficiency; and
    2) Michigan struggles with big teams and is better with a smaller lineup, but VCU starts 4 guards and one guy over 6’7?

    VCU was ranked too high all year. They will lose by the 3rd round

    Shaka Trojan. He or Dixon are LA bound. He’s a hell of a coach with inferior talent. He can really make the Trojans into a PAC 12 contender immediately. Hire him Pat.
