You never know where you might be when a significant event happens. Arkansas State coach John Brady happened to be on vacation with his daughter in Boston, in the area when two explosions left at least three dead and countless others injured near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

Brady, who was in town to see Brandon Bass, his former player during his time at LSU, tweeted his account of the events.

In Boston today to see celtics tomorrow with my daughter Brittany. We r fine pretty scary though. Do not know about game yet.

Keep Boston & victims in ur prayers. Being in the city is an eye opening experience! Another example how fragile life can be. Live it now !

Downtown Boston shut down. Mayor asked all rest etc to close tonight. The rest we were going closed. Understandable . Sad day.
