Louisville head coach Rick Pitino’s lucky streak just won’t end.

He won a national title. He made the hall of fame. He had a horse in the Kentucky Derby. His son got the head coaching job at Minnesota. He caught a freakin’ marlin.

And now, he’ll have his very own bottle of Maker’s Mark.

The company announced on Thursday that, in honor of Pitino’s achievements, they will be producing 12,600 commemorative bottles of bourbon. It is the second in a three-year series of bottles that Maker’s Mark will produce, with the first being a bottle with an image of football coach Charlie Strong. 8,400 of those bottles were sold.

Maker’s Mark has pledged over $500,000 in support of the Academic Center of Excellence.

I love it. Maker’s Mark is contributing to Academic Excellence with their cash while detracting from it with their product. At least, that’s how it worked when I was an undergrad.

and still he coaches at little brother a team that will always be #2 in the state of Kentucky. Hell he was begging his players not to go to the NBA and become floops like all loserville players do because he knew he would be facing a NBA team in Lexington this year and didn’t want to lose by 40!

Blue…..I’m gonna tell your mom you are being a douchebag again.

And if you want to put your money where your silly little mouth is I’ll take the 40 points for all you can afford to bet. Perhaps a months allowance or your weeks wages from working at the car wash.

If you would of lost your over hype Russ then UK would of ran all over you. Still UK is still better than you and has better players and depth then loserville and you will get to find out soon enough

If. Pretty big word. Kinda like IF Cal gets caught again will your 2012 title be vacated. Oh….that’s not an if, that’s a when.
Grow up. UofL won. Your team went to the NIT. It’s over for this year. They start over in October and both will be good.
