Georgetown was dealt another blow on Saturday as Gene Wang of the Washington Post reported that junior guard Jabril Trawick has a broken jaw and will out indefinitely for the Hoyas.

The 6-foot-5 Trawick broke his jaw during Georgetown’s loss to Providence on Wednesday and now the Hoyas will be without Trawick and starting center Joshua Smith for Saturday’s contest against Butler.

Trawick is averaging 7.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game for Georgetown, as the junior has appeared in all 14 games for the 10-4 Hoyas this season. Without Trawick in the starting lineup, the Hoyas could opt to go bigger and just let D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera and Markel Starks worry about backcourt responsibilities on their own.

With Moses Ayegba starting for center Joshua Smith, forwards Mikael Hopkins and Aaron Bowen would be the most likely members of Georgetown’s bench to enter the starting lineup if head coach John Thompson III elects to go bigger.
