Adidas unveils new March Madness uniforms

Mar 6, 2014, 12:24 PM EDT

Adidas unveiled the uniforms that nine teams with sponsorship contracts will be wearing in March.

I like them, but Adidas is really married to this idea of sleeves on a uniform, aren’t they? UCLA, Baylor, Louisville and Cincinnati will all be wearing jerseys that look like a bit too much like a cheap, church league uniform.

Beyond that?

I just hope you get a good, long look at what Notre Dame and Indiana was wearing before Selection Sunday.

Here are some other pictures of the new uniforms:

Sic em bears? Now colleges can put sayings on their Jersey? If md ever gets back into the dance, will under armour unveil the “fear the turtle” jersey?

The sleeved jersey is just not a good look for the players on the court. I understand selling jersey shirts to more fans to wear to games like NFL and mlb, but sleeved jerseys are for kids in spring/summer league.

I’m imagining what Nike would have done with these. Adidas should be applauded for producing something that still resembles basketball uniforms rather than the clown outfits Nike would have done.
