Ohio State forward LaQuinton Ross will enter his name into the NBA Draft, according to a report from Jeff Goodman of ESPN.com.

Ross averaged 15.2 points and 5.9 boards as a junior this past season, evolving into the most dangerous offensive threat on the Ohio State roster. The 6-foot-9 small forward has a versatile offensive repertoire and certainly has a feel for how to score, but the rest of his game is limited. He’s not a great athlete. He was a defensive liability for the Buckeyes this season.

And that’s part of the reason that he’s projected as a second round pick by Draft Express.

With Ross leaving and Aaron Craft and Lenzelle Smith graduating, Thad Matta will be looking at a bit of an overhaul on his roster next season as he loses his top three scorers. Sam Thompson and Shannon Scott both return, and look for Marc Loving and Kameron Williams play major roles offensively along with D’Angelo Russell, the crown jewel of Matta’s 2014 recruiting class.

The article title is incorrect. It should read “LaQuinton Ross is leaving college.” I don’t see him making it to the lNBA.

Now if we could just get Amir Williams to either up his game and actually……TRY!
