For the first time since 1996 the Pac-12 has decided to put together an all-star team for a summer trip overseas, and on Friday the conference announced the members of the squad that will visit China in August. The team will be coached by Utah head coach Larry Krystkowiak and includes guards Andrew Andrews (Washington) and DaVonte’ Lacy (Washington State), and forwards Xavier Johnson (Colorado) and Jordan Loveridge (Utah).

The 13-member squad will begin practice in San Francisco on August 7, departing for Shanghai on August 10. While in China the team will play four games and participate in youth clinics, and they’ll also be able to visit some historical sites in three different cities.

“It’s an honor to have the chance to represent the University of Utah and the Pac-12 in China this summer,” Krystkowiak said in the release. “This is a great educational experience for everyone involved and I can’t wait to work with this select group of outstanding student-athletes.”

Ten of the conference’s 12 members are represented, with Oregon and UCLA being the programs without a player on the roster. Utah (three) and Oregon State (two) are the only programs with more than one player on the roster.
