Needham Broughton High (North Carolina) senior guard Jerome Robinson committed to Boston College on Tuesday morning while on an official visit to the Chestnut Hill campus.

“Taking the leap of faith! and I’m happy to say that I’ve committed to Boston College!” Robinson tweeted.

On Sunday, Matt Milon, a three-star guard from Florida, became the first commit in Jim Christian’s inaugural recruiting class at Boston College. Christian had inherited 2015 commit Jeremy Miller when he replaced Steve Donahue, however, the 6-foot-9 three-star power forward decommitted on May 9.

The 6-foot-3 shooting guard ran with Garner Road Elite in the adidas Gauntlet this summer, starting all 16 games for Garner Road Elite. He was third on the team in scoring at 9.6 points per game, shooting 44 percent from beyond the arc. He averaged 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists a contest.
