Oumar Barry, a 6-foot-9 forward from forward form Bishop O’Connell in Arlington, Va., has committed to DePaul, a source told NBCSports.com’s Scott Phillips.
Barry is the second player in Oliver Purnell’s 2015 class, joining DeVelle Phillips, who committed last week. Like Phillips, Barry is a 6-foot-9 three-star recruit from just outside D.C.
The two were teammates in the D.C. Premier AAU program that was formerly known as D.C. Assault. Jon Davis, who was committed to the Blue Demons at one point, is also a part of the D.C. Premier program.
Barry visited Towson this past weekend, a week after taking a visit to DePaul. A native of Guinea, Barry arrived in the States last fall and has improved a lot over the course of the last year.
