Florida State gets commitment from 7-foot-4 2015 center

Leonard Hamilton

Florida State made a splash with three talented perimeter players in the 2015 recruiting class this fall but now the Seminoles have added a massive center to go along with them.

A source confirmed to NBCSports.com that Florida State landed a commitment from 7-foot-4 center Jean Marc Christ Koumadje, who will play his senior season at powerhouse Montverde Academy in Florida. Koumadje’s commitment was first reported by SNY.tv’s Adam Zagoria.

Koumadje was also considering Georgia Tech, SMU, UCLA and UConn and was scheduled to take an official visit to SMU this weekend. Florida State already had Koumadje on campus earlier this fall for an official visit.

Florida State now has commitments from five-star wing Dwayne Bacon and four-star wings Terance Mann and Malik Beasley. The Seminoles have a very nice 2015 class going and should be in the running for a top 10 class in the country.
