Lorenzo Romar added his fourth commit in Washington’s Class of 2015 on Monday night as Eastside Catholic High (Washington) small forward Matisse Thybulle announced he had committed to the Huskies.

He tweeted: “I’ve decided that I’m going to the University of Washington to play for the Huskies! Thanks to everyone who supported me!”

Thybulle was on an official visit at U-Dub this past weekend. He had previously taken officials to Cal, Oregon and Gonzaga, according to Scout.com.

The 6-foot-7 small forward joins top-50 recruit Marquese Chriss, a 6-foot-8 power forward, four-star shooting guard Dejounte Murray and three-star point guard David Crisp. All four commits are ranked in the Rivals150.

“They have some talented guys on that team,” Thybulle told Percy Allen of the Seattle Times in a phone interview on Monday night. “Being able to compete with them everyday in practice and go with them and compete with some more NBA players throughout the Pac-12 – I just want to see how I can become the best player that I can be.

“I see me taking basketball to a whole other level being able to compete with players of that level of play.”

Thybulle, the Seattle native, played for Northwest XPress in the Nike EYBL, averaging 8.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 20.6 minutes per game.
