Billy Kennedy’s resurgence on the recruiting trail continued on Thursday as Texas A&M landed their third commitment from a top 75 recruit in the Class of 2015.

Admon Gilder, a 6-foot-5 guard from Dallas, pledged to the Aggies on Thrsday. Gilder is a four-star recruit and ranked No. 65 in the Class of 2015, according to Rivals.

“I am officially committed to Texas A&M University,” Gilder tweeted. He picked the Aggies over Baylor, SMU and Oklahoma State.

Gilder joins five-star center Tyler Davis and four-star sharpshooter D.J. Hogg in the class, and he’s a nice compliment to that duo. Gilder is a talented scorer on the wing, a player capable of hitting threes as well as putting the ball on the floor.

“He’s a tough-minded guard who is at his best in the open floor on both ends,” NBCSports.com recruting analyst Scott Phillips said. “Gilder can really get out and defend and should help the Aggie defense immediately.”

Gilder’s last official visit was to A&M, and he made that trip with another five-star center, Elijah Thomas. He will be making his decision next week, and the Aggies -- as well as Illinois, LSU, SMU and Oklahoma State, where Jawun Evans is committed -- are on his list.

Perhaps most noteworthy here is that all three of Texas A&M’s commits, as well as Thomas, are Texas natives.
