After finishing the 2013-14 season with a 33-5 record and reaching the Elite Eight, the Arizona Wildcats enter the 2014-15 season with a theme of “unfinished business.” Despite everything that Sean Miller’s team accomplished last season, they fell short of their goal of winning a national title. Despite the loss of starters Nick Johnson and Aaron Gordon, the Wildcats are expected to be one of the main contenders for the national title this season.

Saturday afternoon that talent was on display at McKale Center, as the team played its annual Red-Blue Game. Brandon Ashley, who was lost for the season to a broken bone in his foot in a loss at Cal, was back on the floor as was a talented group of returnees led by senior point guard T.J. McConnell, junior center Kaleb Tarczewski and sophomore forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.

Arizona also has one of the nation’s best recruiting classes, led by freshman Stanley Johnson. Above are highlights of the game, which the Red team won 53-46 with Hollis-Jefferson leading the way with 13 points. Johnson paced the Blue team with a game-high 17, and freshman forward Dusan Ristic added 14.
