Last season Rex Walters’ San Francisco Dons won 21 games and finished tied for second place in the WCC, earning a spot in the Postseason NIT as a result. And with three starters returning, led by forwards Kruize Pinkins and Mark Tollefsen, San Francisco is capable of duplicating (if not exceeding) those accomplishments in 2014-15. Saturday night the school held its third annual “Hilltop Hoopsfest,” with the men’s and women’s teams putting on a show for the fans.

Above are some highlights from the event, which included Tollefsen winning the dunk contest for a second consecutive season. The dunk that sealed the win for Tollefsen can be seen at the 51-second mark of the video.

Tollefsen and Pinkins will be key pieces for the Dons due in part to the graduation of Cole Dickerson, who led the team in scoring and rebounding a season ago. Players such as Uche Ofoegbu and Montray Clemons will add depth in the front court, with returnees Tim Derksen and Matt Glover leading the way on the perimeter.
