Memphis grabs a commitment from a 2016 guard

Josh Pastner

Memphis picked up another commitment in the 2016 class on Monday as lefty guard Randall Broddie pledged to the Tigers and head coach Josh Pastner.

Broddie visited Memphis this past weekend for an unofficial visit to Memphis Madness and announced his commitment on Twitter.

A 6-foot-2 native of Potomac, Maryland, Broddie joins 2016 center Nick Marshall in the 2016 class for Memphis. Broddie is currently regarded as the No. 141 prospect in the Class of 2016, according to Rivals, and ran with Team Takeover in grassroots ball this past spring and summer.

Memphis adding a commitment from Broddie shows that their Memphis Madness festivities with Rick Ross payed off. Broddie visited, enjoyed the spectacle of the sell out and performance like many other recruits do, and made an early commitment.

The Tigers are off to a good start in the 2016 class and hope to land Skal Labissiere to join the Lawson brothers in the 2015 class.
