Virginia kicked things off in its 2016 recruiting efforts on Monday as the Cavaliers landed a commitment from four-star guard Kyle Guy.
A 6-foot-2 native of Indianapolis, Guy had a strong July live evaluation with Indiana Elite and picked up numerous high-major offers.
Guy announced his commitment on his Twitter on Monday:

Considered the No. 60 overall player in the 2016 class, Guy attends Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis and is a skilled perimeter shooter who can play a bit of both guard spots.
Guy joins guard Ty Jerome in Virginia’s 2016 class and both guards can hit perimeter shots.
For Tony Bennett to grab Guy out of Indiana and away from the tradition-rich in-state programs that had offered him is a major grab in the 2016 class.
