After winning 29 games and the WCC regular season and tournament titles in 2013-14, big things are expected of the Gonzaga Bulldogs this upcoming season. Three starters, guards Gary Bell Jr. and Kevin Pangos and center Przemek Karnowski, return to Spokane and the Bulldogs also add some talented newcomers to the rotation. Among those additions are four freshmen and transfers Kyle Wiltjer (Kentucky) and Byron Wesley (USC), with Wiltjer having the additional benefit of being a part of the Gonzaga program last season.

Saturday night the program held its annual “Kraziness in the Kennel” event, once again filling a building in which Gonzaga did not lose a game in last season (15-0 home record). Among the activities for the fans were three-point and dunk contests, which were won by Pangos and freshman Silas Melson, respectively. There was also a 20-minute scrimmage, with Wiltjer accounting for 11 points and seven rebounds to help lead the Blue Team to a 41-32 win over the Red Team. Freshman Domantas Sabonis scored a team-high ten points for the Red.
