San Diego State senior Dwayne Polee II was released from the hospital on Tuesday afternoon.

Polee collapsed during Monday night’s game against UC Riverside with 11 minutes remaining in the first. He spent roughly 15 minutes on the Viejas Arena floor. The AP reports that Polee was conscious when he was taken out of the arena.

Mark Ziegler of the San Diego Union Tribune reported that Polee was discharged from the hospital after undergoing a series of tests. He is awaiting the results.
“We will just pray that the tests can be run and can determine what the cause of it might be and move forward from there,” San Diego State head coach Steve Fisher said after the 61-33 win over UC Riverside. “Our No. 1 thought right now is for Dwayne Polee and he is in a spot right now where the experts will be able to take care of him.”

Polee is averaging 8.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game for the Aztecs.

San Diego State returns on Saturday against San Diego Christian.
