Wichita State had a scary moment during their trip to Drake for their Missouri Valley opener on Tuesday evening.

The plane the Shockers were taking took off but had to immediately turn around and land back at the Wichita airport due to a sensor malfunction in the landing gear, according to KWCH-12.

The flight was never in any danger of crashing, per the AP, and the Shockers were able to take a different charter flight on Wednesday morning.

The Shockers will play at Drake at 6 p.m. ET.
