GAME OF THE NIGHT: Oregon 68, Arizona State 67 (OT)

About midway through the second half, the announcers on the Pac-12 Network called it. They said this game was going to overtime. That’s exactly what happened when Shaquielle McKissic drained a game-tying 3-pointer with 0.9 seconds remaining. The Sun Devils offense look lost on the last possession, but instead of fouling up three the Ducks allowed the chaos to continue, which ended with McKissic going across the court before launching the desperation triple.

In the extra frame Oregon scored the majority of its points from the line to take a 66-62 lead. Jonathan Gilling chose a good time to hit his only three of the night, cutting the deficit to one with 90 seconds left. After a stop McKissic cut through the lane to put the Sun Devils up one. Joseph Young responded with a jumper in the lane on the ensuing possession to give Oregon a 68-67 lead.

Like at the end of regulation, the Sun Devils were in disarray and their final shot didn’t even reach the basket.
